FAQ

How does field tiling benefit agricultural properties?
Field tiling improves soil drainage, reducing waterlogging and increasing crop yield by guiding excess water away from fields efficiently.
What is the role of GPS grade control and mapping in excavation projects?
GPS grade control and mapping play a crucial role in projects by providing precision in trenching and tiling. This technology not only streamlines construction processes but also serves as a more efficient tool for locating existing infrastructure. When it comes to future expansions or additions, it's easier to find existing lines, as everything is already mapped out using GPS, saving time and reducing potential errors.
What services do you offer for water lines and livestock watering systems?
Gerald Kinyon & Sons Construction LLC specializes in both water line repair and installation, along with livestock watering system services. We ensure efficient installation and reliable maintenance to keep your systems running smoothly. With our expert team and advanced technology, we handle every project with precision and care, providing dependable solutions for your water management needs.
Why are regular septic inspections important?
Regular septic inspections help identify potential issues early, ensuring the system operates efficiently, preventing costly repairs, and protecting the environment.
How does coco/peat moss benefit environmental projects?
Coco/peat moss is used for its natural absorbency and sustainability, making it ideal for improving soil quality and supporting eco-friendly landscaping and agricultural practices.
How long does a septic system installation take?
Most installations take 3–7 days, depending on weather, permitting, and property layout.
How often should I schedule a septic inspection?
Experts recommend inspecting your septic system every 1–3 years, or before buying or selling a property. Routine inspections catch issues like blockages, cracks, and early drain‑field stress before they turn into expensive repairs.
What are the signs my septic tank needs repair?
Common warning signs include slow drains, sewage odors, gurgling pipes, wet spots in the yard, or sewage backups. Many issues—like broken lids, baffle problems, or minor cracks—can be repaired. Severe structural damage may require replacement. Delaying repairs can cause environmental contamination and expensive damage to your drain field. Call today!
